I don't know if every city has a local paper that reports on traffic conditions at their website. However, in looking at newsok.com every morning, I'm becoming increasingly shocked at the amount of accidents happening in construction zones. From semi-tractors, to passenger automobiles, it appears the negligence of one driver can have devastating effects. For instance, this morning, it is being reported on newsok.com that "as many as six vehicles may be involved in three separate accidents on or approaching the bridge over Interstate 44." Reporting of trucking and motor vehicle accidents in these construction zones where traffic congestion is high seem to be a daily ritual. Its time to hold these trucking companies and individuals accountable when they cause accidents in these dangerous construction zones.
