According to newsok.com the Ottawa County District attorney has filed negligent homicide charges against the driver of the semi. This is a sad situation where the semi driver apparently failed to devote his full time and attention to the roadway as collided with stalled traffic on the interstate. The most amazing thing is the article reports that the driver never even slowed down. As this matter is litigated I’m curious as to how the issue of fatigue will play in. In the coming days I will attempt to discuss areas in which truck drivers suffer fatigue and the devastating effects that can occur.
