I just found this great article on lawsuit immunity, civil amnesty, corporate immunity among other things being propounded by the Oklahoma GOP. I wanted to share it with everyone and invite you to read this commentary. Its entitled “State GOP Announces New Corporate Lawsuit Immunity Initiative” posted on Okie Funk. The post puts this issue into perspective and states “Note the word “reform” here. Obviously, reform in this case is in the eye of the beholder. If you’re someone who has been seriously injured because of corporate negligence and you’re trying to recover damages to put your life back together, you would hardly label a cap on damages “reform.””

Anyway, take a look at the post and participate in the “vote” on the issue at the end of the blog.

Wasn't Newt Gingrich et al touting a similar 'reform' under the guise of "Eliminating frivolous Lawsuits"?
