I just read where a woman who was injured in a fatal drunken driving crash with a Chicago-area prosecutor has filed a lawsuit against the restaurant that served the attorney. The woman, who suffered multiple fractures from the accident, claims that the restaurant should not have served the prosecutor, whose blood alcohol level was three times the legal limit and was driving a county-issued vehicle at the time of the accident. Attorneys for the plaintiff said they may include additional defendants in the lawsuit, including the county. Ted Gregory, Chicago Tribune 06/05/2007

This reminded me a law that few seem to know about in Oklahoma, the DRAM SHOP ACT. Essentially, when you are involved in an accident with a drunken driver, under certain circumstances the establishment that served the intoxicated driver can be held liable. We have extensive experience in this area. So if you have been hit by a drunken driver call our firm and we will investigate every potential avenue of recovery.
