I read recently where the manufacturer of children’s safety seats, Evenflo, announced in February the recall of one million of their car seats that were proven to be defective and potentially harmful to those involved in accidents.

Apparently, when Evenflo and the National Highway and Traffic Safety Administration tested the car seats they found that upon impact, the seats separated from their base. As a father, this is scary. We buy products that we assume have been properly tested and will protect our most cherished possessions (“our children”) in the event of a car accident.

I personally am thankful we trial lawyers are out there protecting consumers and our babies from companies who put products out in the market place with claims of safety and protection, when in reality they do not provide protection.

Personaly I am sickened by the amount of lawsuits that are done each year for stupid things. I would rather a company find a problem and admit to it over a trail lawyer to make big bucks over something that is purely greed.

You have no idea what your talking about. Have you seen what tests are done? Do you know that the tests that are done are twice as stringent as the government requires? In many cases, companies such as this one, have higher standards that that requiered.

Lawyers such as yourself are only money hungry and will pry on false truths to get it.

anyone familiar with the injury stats knows that hundreds of children are killed and thousands are injured while correctly restrained in certified seats ... baby seat manufactures self certify do you believe that ... todays state of the art baby seat technoloy is almost forty years old ... baby seat companies don't sell safety they sell features ... just ask them how safe their seats is .......
