A comment on Things to Never Tell an Adjuster – “I’m Not Injured”

This is interesting advice and so very important to people that really are hurt. We see the "I'm getting better" answer or posed question, that really is meant to be used in the same way. The adjuster has a goal in with the statement, none of which are in line with the person seeing justice. They ask questions with a reason , that the average person, who wants to get their property damage paid for, is worried about getting back to work and has had their life turned upside down would even consider are important.

A comment on I-35 Automobile Accidents - Barrier Cables Can Prevent Deadly Car Accidents

I totally agree -- every mile of divided highway in the country should have these barriers. I've seen many crashes over the years, both with and without barriers. It's amazing how effective these barriers can be -- even stopping trucks.

Wouldn't these be a great economic stimulus project?

A comment on I-35 Automobile Accidents - Barrier Cables Can Prevent Deadly Car Accidents

You are so right about what each state should be looking at. It is clear that these fences do save lives. Think about the force it takes to crossover and combine that with the other car going the other way at Highway speeds, it is tragedy. Hopeful State officials will see that.

A comment on Texting Behind the Wheel – Prevalent Among Oklahoma Drivers?

The danger by no means stops at texting. Any driver using a cell phone puts themself and others in grave danger. The proper term is inattentive blindness. People become so absorbed into the conversation they are oblivious to what is going on right next to them.

A comment on 1 Year-Old Drowns in Neighbors Swimming Pool

I lost my two year old five years ago in a drowning accident. My heart goes out to the family that lost there precious child. I am re-married and have two wonderful boys that are 1 1/2 and three. They both are taking swim lessons with an incredible program called Infant Swim Resource. They both have not only learned to swim, but have learned to survive if they fall into water by themselves. I only wish I had found such an incredible program when my precious son Colton was alive.

A comment on Injured in an I-35 Accident? Real Life Reasons You Need an Attorney

Your story is so true, had a roll over case come in last week, multiple fractures and the person was in because the minimal offer "just didn't seem right". I expect the company will be paying the limits in not to long. Good experienced attorneys can and do make a difference.

A comment on Head-On Collision Shatters Families' Life

Jeremy: This tragic story should be sent to the desks of every member of congress who is considering swapping the rights of accident victims in exchange for comprehensive health care reform. While reforming our health care system is and must continue to be a national priority, stories like this one graphically display the manipulation of a tort system, already heavily weighted in favor of insurance companies and against accident victims. There is no "frivolousness" or "jackpot justice" here, only heartbreak. To consider additional measures that would further penalize victims like these unfortunate folks and benefit insurance companies who try to further victimize the victims would be congressional criminal negligence. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
